Land rates touch new high in Hisar

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">HISAR: The rates of land in Hisar have witnessed a sudden and record spurt. <br /><br />A piece of land measuring less than four acres on Hisar-Delhi road, opposite Vidyut Nagar, was sold worth about rupees nine crore on Tuesday. <br /><br />It is reported that the purchasers intend to build a shopping complex here.On the peripheral roads leading to the nearby suburbs the rates per acre of land have touched between Rs 30 to 40 lakh.<br /><br />In the new HUDA sectors of nine and eleven some financers and real estate dealers have pooled a large number of the plots'' ownership and they shall sell them out later on high premium.<br /><br />One of the property dealers applied for about 150 plots in different names and succeeded in getting around thirty in the draw. <br /><br />The unprecedented increase in rates has been observed on Hisar-Delhi and Hisar-road, within five kms, of the town and per acre cost is about Rs 30 to 40 lakh. A single plot in sector 14 fetches the premium of Rs 5,000 to 7,000 per yard.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
